Hewwo! I'm Amethyst! My pronouns are she/her and I'm a Capricorn, a Sagittarius moon, and a Scorpio rising.

I've been drawing and making things for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until 8th grade that I started taking art more seriously and started drawing in a more anime style. All the art I saw from artists drawing fanart for Minecraft youtubers (Mostly for MittyMoxx, LDShadowlady, and ihascupquake) inspired me to do so.

If you couldn't tell already, I love playing video games. One of my favorites is Minecraft. It wasn't the first video game I have played but it had played a signigicant role in me discovering a lot of things I love today! Well actually that's a bit inaccurate. It was my love of magic that started everything XD.

I had loved fairies and witches and all things magic since I was a kid. It started with a single Tinkerbell book as a kid and I loved seeing Tinkerbell on it's pages. Then I grew to love all fairies (Imagine my excitement when Winx Club was announced to start airing on Nickelodeon), then magic overall.

Then when my friends at school told me about minecraft and that I could build anything in it, I became interested because I wanted to see builds with a winx club theme. I found winx club builds and animations, but when I searched up "fairy house", I found the minecraft series Enchanted Oasis from MittyMoxx's perpective and it was her fairy house episode. Then I found out about modded minecraft and all the magical mods it has. Then finding MittyMoxx's Whimsylux series afterwards (Enchanted Oasis and WhimsyLux are my all time favorite Minecraft series).

It snowballed from here. Finding all the famous Minecraft youtubers most importantly, popularmmos and his modded minecraft series. Then finding sANsMelody's art and animations. Her art was what got me to start improving my art. From there, following tutorials, I came across Mark Crilley's Hatsune Miku tutorial and that's how I found out about Miku. *cue Hatsune Miku hyperfixation that lasts to this day*.

From love of the minecraft mods I wanted to make my own, so I started following tutorials on how to make minecraft mods and I pretty much taught myself how to code (in java at least). That ignited my love for coding.

Eventually my love for magic led me to finding out I'm a witch. The universe was telling me for years at this point XD. *cue me learning about witchcraft, wicca, paganism, and making another excuse to hoard more crystals*.

I'm currently going to school part time to get an associates degree in computer science. I was gonna do art but I changed my mind.
